WorkStory.net is a newly launched and innovative web-based video resource for individuals who are new to the job market. It is based on the idea that authentic stories told by one’s peers have the power to intrigue, inform, and inspire.
WorkStory features short videos by individuals addressing three key questions:
What do you do? What’s great about your work? What path(s) did you take to get there?
Ranging in length from 2 minutes-8 minutes, WorkStory communicates meaningful experiences and lessons you can apply to your own job search and career development.
Created last year by two Canadian professors, WorkStory has gained interest from students, job seekers, career professionals and employer / recruiters.
